Double-decker buses have returned to the streets of Hyderabad after two decades. On February 8, 2023, the Telangana Government inaugurated three of the proposed six electric double-decker buses, which will be predominantly used around the race track during the Formula E-prix, which is scheduled to take place on February 11. The buses were delivered following an order by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on instructions from Telangana Minister KTR.
